What do you find healing in life?
Above all, of course, God brings healing, and prayer. Music and poetry also bring a sense of healing in my life. Loving and being loved are healing too.
About Me:
As a means of dealing with the pain and fatigue that lupus and fibromyalgia cause, I have turned to writing poetry for several years, looking for the blessings in life, all the positive and uplifting things that can be found. Two books of my poetry have been published, Beautiful Moments of Joy and Peace and Abiding Hope and Love, and the titles convey what they are about! I am married, have two children and three grandsons and live in North Carolina.

Limitless Love

No matter what valley you travel through
In a deep and rugged ravine,
as the burdens of life press upon you,
there’s a power on which you can lean.

When overcome with sorrow and pain,
as trials seem to increase,
God’s mercy and grace still remain,
providing comfort and peace.

Hope for Tomorrow

As we struggle through this world
filled with troubles and with sorrow,
we should not be discouraged
but have hope for tomorrow.

We have so many questions
that occupy the mind,
and it seems that the answers
are truly hard to find.

The future is uncertain,
what will come is yet unknown,
but we can have a certainty
that we are not alone.

Though today we may be suffering
torment, pain and grief,
have faith and hope for tomorrow,
and God’s healing and relief.
